S.Francis, took place a wonder: in 1224, Francis from Assisi, took from
his Lord "l'ultimo sigillo che le sue membra due anni portarno"
(Dante, Divina Commedia, Paradiso); after that, a lot of things occurred:
Andrea Della Robbia leaved here in XV century, several works of his
artistic growing; giving thanks to Franciscan humility and parsimony, La
Verna Forest is now an example of wood in wich was applied naturalistic
selvicolture "ante litteram".
